Led by Pandit Samar Saha, affectionately known as 'Guruji' to all of his students around the world, this piece begins with a prolific and and energetic tabla solo improvisation that steps outside the usual classical Indian tabla solo format and instead plays on the music that is happening underneath, ending in a rousing tihai which clears the way for the 'Awakening' to begin. In this second half of this piece, the musicians, now on their own, (without the tabla) all 'waking up' into the music, building into a crescendo that marks a pinnacle moment for not just this track, but for the entire album.
